Let's Start with the Big Guns

You might think that the number of people with a net worth over 10 million is a well-guarded secret, like the recipe for Coca-Cola or how they make those tiny umbrellas for drinks. But no, it's actually quite public knowledge, thanks to some clever folks who crunch numbers for a living.

According to Forbes, as of 2021, there are approximately 2,755 billionaires worldwide. Now, don't go rolling your eyes just yet. We're not talking about the 10-millionaires here, we're just setting the stage.

Now, Let's Get to the Main Event

So, how many people have a net worth over 10 million, you ask? Well, according to the Credit Suisse Global Wealth Report, in 2020, there were around 51.7 million adults with a net worth above $1 million. Now, that's a party!

But wait, you wanted to know about the 10-millionaires, right? Well, if we're talking about the ultra-high net worth individuals, those with a net worth of $50 million or more, there were around 182,000 of them in 2020. Not too shabby, huh?

Let's Put That into Perspective

Now, you might be thinking, "Wow, that's a lot of millionaires!" And you're right, it is. But let's put that into perspective.
