Ever wondered what it's like to be a rock legend? Let's dive into the ages of Rush, the power trio that's been rocking our world since the '70s. Grab your air guitar and let's get started!
Geddy Lee - The Frontman
Meet our fearless leader, Geddy Lee. Born Gary Lee Weinrib, he's the band's lead vocalist, bassist, and keyboardist. This multi-talent turned 68 in July 2021, making him the eldest of the trio. But don't let that fool you, he's still got the energy of a teenager on stage!
Fun fact: Geddy's first instrument was the accordion. Can you imagine Tom Sawyer played on an accordion? Now that's a different Rush!

Alex Lifeson - The Guitar Guru
Next up, we have Alex Lifeson, the mastermind behind those iconic guitar riffs. Born Alex Zivojinovich, he's the band's lead guitarist and occasional vocalist. Alex celebrated his 69th birthday in August 2021, making him just a few months older than Geddy.
Did you know? Alex was once a plumber! Before he became a rock god, he was fixing pipes. Now that's a career change we can get behind!
Neil Peart - The Drumming Dynamo (Rest in Peace)
Last but not least, we have the late, great Neil Peart. The band's drummer, lyricist, and occasional vocalist, Neil was born in September 1952, making him the youngest of the trio. Sadly, he passed away in January 2020 at the age of 67, leaving a void in the music world that can never be filled.
