Ever wondered how old the characters in Wicked are? You know, those magical folks from Oz who steal our hearts with their green skin, ruby slippers, and fabulous friendship? Well, buckle up, because we're about to dive into a world of emerald ages and enchanting years!
Let's Start with the OG Trio
Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, is our leading lady. She's born in the year 1889, making her a ripe old age of... wait for it... 101 when the musical begins! Now, that's what you call a well-preserved witch.
Glinda, her BFF-turned-rival, is a mere 28 when we first meet her. Talk about a generation gap! But don't underestimate her – she's got the brains and beauty to outshine her older counterpart.
Must Read
And let's not forget about Fiyero, the hunky love interest. He's a fresh-faced 25 when he first lays eyes on Elphaba. Young enough to be her... well, you know.
Now, Let's Get Weird
Remember the Munchkinlanders? Those tiny, adorable folks who sing and dance their way into our hearts? They're not your average age. In fact, they're immortal! That's right, they've been around since the dawn of Oz, and they'll be there long after we're gone.

And what about Nessarose, Elphaba's sister? She's a sweet 23 when we meet her, but here's where it gets weird: she's engaged to Boq, a Munchkinlander who's, well, way older than her. We're talking centuries older. Talk about a May-December romance!
Age is Just a Number, Right?
In Oz, age doesn't seem to matter much. Elphaba and Glinda's friendship transcends their age gap, and love blooms between Nessarose and Boq despite their, ahem, experience gap. It's a reminder that age is just a number, and what really matters is the magic we make together.
So there you have it, folks! The ages of your favorite Wicked characters, laid bare for all to see. Now, go forth and enjoy the show, knowing that even the oldest witch among us can find love, friendship, and a whole lot of fun!
