Hey there, curious minds! Let's dive into the world of Victorious, that awesome Nickelodeon show that had us all singing and laughing in the early 2010s. You might be wondering, "How old is Jade West, the sassy, guitar-playing queen bee?" Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to find out!
So, Who's Jade West?
Jade, played by the super talented Elizabeth Gillies, is the lead singer of Tori Vega's rival band, Jade's Jammers. She's known for her sharp wit, fierce attitude, and, of course, her signature dark hair and red lipstick. But how old is she, really?
Let's Do the Math!
Victorious premiered in 2010, and the show follows Tori and her friends through their high school years. In the first episode, Tori is a 16-year-old sophomore. Now, here's where it gets interesting. Jade is a year older than Tori, which means she's a 17-year-old junior when the show starts.

But wait, there's more! The show spans four seasons, and each season covers about a year in the characters' lives. So, by the time the show ends in 2013, Jade would be around 20 years old. Mind. Blown.
But Wait, There's More!
Now, you might be thinking, "That's all well and good, but what about Elizabeth Gillies, the actress who plays Jade?" Well, let me tell you, she was just 14 when the show started! Can you even imagine being that talented at such a young age?
And get this, Elizabeth was born on May 26, 1996. That means she's a spring baby, just like her character, Jade. Coincidence? I think not!
Fun Facts!
Did you know that Elizabeth Gillies was actually the first actress to be cast in the show? That's right, she was chosen to play Jade before even Tori Vega was cast! Talk about a lucky break.
