So, you're curious about Johnny Bananas' age, huh? You're not alone, pal! This guy's been around the block a few times, and he's still going strong on The Challenge. Let's dive in and find out just how many candles he's blown out.
Born in the '80s, baby!
Alright, let's set the scene. Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio was born on December 22, 1980, in the good ol' US of A. That makes him a Sagittarius, in case you're into that astrology stuff. And no, he wasn't born with a bunch of bananas on his head – sadly, that's just a nickname he earned on The Real World.
From reality TV to challenge champion
Bananas first graced our screens in 2006 on The Real World: Key West. He was just a fresh-faced 25-year-old, ready to take on the world (or at least, reality TV). Little did he know, he'd become a Challenge legend, with a whopping 22 seasons under his belt – and counting!

Now, let's do some math. If Bananas started his Challenge journey in 2006 and it's now... well, let's say it's 2022 (because who wants to do the math every year?), that means he's been competing for 16 years. That's like, what, half his life? No wonder he's so good at it!
Age is just a number, right?
You might be thinking, "Wow, Bananas is getting up there in age!" But hold up, let's put things into perspective. This guy has eight Challenge wins to his name. That's more than some people have pairs of socks! And he's not slowing down anytime soon.
In fact, Bananas has said that he wants to keep competing until he's 40. That gives him just a few more years to rack up those wins and cement his legacy as the greatest Challenge player of all time. Talk about a late bloomer!
What's his secret?
So, what's Bananas' secret to staying young at heart (and, let's be real, young on the outside, too)? Well, aside from his killer abs and that famous grin, he's got a competitive spirit that just won't quit. He's always training, always strategizing, and always ready to take on the next challenge.

Plus, he's got a great support system – his fans, his fellow competitors, and even his mom, who's been known to make an appearance on the show. When you've got love like that, it's hard to feel old, right?
But how old is he really?
Alright, let's get down to business. As of 2022, Johnny Bananas is 41 years old. But remember, that's just a number. This guy's still got the energy of a 20-year-old and the wisdom of, well, an 11-time Challenge champion (okay, so he's not quite there yet, but you get the idea).
So, next time you're watching Bananas dominate the competition, remember that he's not just a young gun – he's a seasoned vet with a whole lot of experience under his belt. And he's not done yet, folks. Not by a long shot.
Now, who's ready to place their bets on how many more seasons Bananas will grace our screens? I, for one, am all in. This guy's age is just a number, and his Challenge legacy is far from over.
