How Old Is Kevin Mccallister In Home Alone 2

So, you're wondering, "How old is Kevin McCallister in Home Alone 2?" Well, grab your favorite mug, let's spill the beans.

Home Alone 1: The OG

First things first, let's rewind to the original Home Alone. Kevin, played by the ever-adorable Macaulay Culkin, was just a kid. A 9-year-old kid, to be precise. Now, you might be thinking, "How could they forget a 9-year-old at the airport?" Well, that's Hollywood magic for you!

So, after that little mishap, Kevin finds himself home alone again. But this time, he's got a plan. He's gonna teach those Wet Bandits a lesson they won't forget. And let me tell you, he does it in style.

Home Alone 2: The New York Adventure

Now, fast forward to Home Alone 2. You're probably wondering, "How much time has passed?" Well, it's been a whole year in the McCallister world. So, Kevin is now a 10-year-old mastermind, ready to take on the Big Apple.

But here's where things get a tad confusing. You see, Home Alone 2 was actually shot right after the first one. So, Macaulay Culkin was still 9 when they started filming. But hey, who's counting? It's not like they were making a period piece or anything.

Anyway, back to our hero. So, Kevin's in New York, and he's got a new set of baddies to deal with. This time, it's the Sticky Bandits, or as I like to call them, "Those Guys Who Really Should've Known Better."

The Big Question: How Old Was Macaulay?

Alright, let's get down to brass tacks. If you're still wondering, "How old was Macaulay Culkin when they filmed Home Alone 2?" the answer is, he was 9. But remember, in the movie's timeline, Kevin is 10. So, let's just say he was a very mature 9-year-old. Or maybe just a really young 10-year-old. Either way, he was brilliant!

And there you have it, folks. The age of Kevin McCallister in Home Alone 2, all wrapped up in a neat little bow. Now, who's ready for some more coffee? I've got a feeling we're gonna need it.
