How Old Is Mark Ballas Dancing With The Stars

So, I was watching Dancing with the Stars the other night, and there was Mark Ballas, twirling and spinning like he was still in his twenties. I mean, the guy's got moves that could give a whippersnapper a run for their money. But it got me thinking, how old is this guy anyway?

Now, I know what you're thinking, "Why does it matter, as long as he can dance?" Well, you're right, of course. But bear with me, I'm curious, and I know you are too. Plus, it's not like we're asking for his social security number or anything.

Let's Do the Math

Alright, so Mark Ballas was born on May 24, 1986. That makes him a Taurus, by the way, which explains his stubborn determination on the dance floor. Now, let's see, it's 2023 as I write this. That means Mark is... 36 years old. Yep, you read that right. The guy who's been making us swoon on our screens for what feels like forever is actually in his mid-thirties.

I know, I know, it's hard to believe. I mean, he looks great for his age, doesn't he? But then again, when you've been dancing professionally since you were a kid, I guess it's not surprising that you can still out-dance people half your age.

From Child Prodigy to DWTS Pro

Speaking of dancing since he was a kid, did you know Mark started dancing at the age of 7? Yep, he's been at it for over three decades now. He started with ballet, then moved on to ballroom, and by the time he was a teenager, he was already competing in international competitions. So, by the time he joined Dancing with the Stars in 2007, he was already a seasoned pro.

And boy, has he made an impact. He's been a pro on the show for over a decade now, and he's won twice - with Olympian Shawn Johnson in 2009 and with actress Kristi Yamaguchi in 2008. Not bad for a kid from England, huh?

More Than Just a Pretty Face

But Mark's not just a pretty face (though, let's be real, he is pretty easy on the eyes). He's also a talented musician. He plays the guitar, piano, and drums, and he's written and performed his own music. He even released an album in 2011. And if that's not enough, he's also an actor, with roles in shows like Harry's Law and The Bold and the Beautiful.

So, there you have it. Mark Ballas is 36 years old, a dancing machine, a musical prodigy, and an all-around talented guy. And the next time you're watching him on Dancing with the Stars, you can impress your friends with your newfound knowledge. Just don't tell them you learned it from me. Let's keep that our little secret, okay?
