How Old Is The Actor That Plays Percy Jackson

Hey there, Percy Jackson fans! You know how we all love to dive into the adventures of our favorite demigod, but have you ever wondered, just how old is the actor who brings Percy to life?

Let's rewind for a sec. If you're new here, welcome! We're talking about the Percy Jackson series, you know, the one that's like Harry Potter but with Greek gods and monsters. Pretty cool, huh?

Now, back to our main question. The actor who plays Percy is Logan Lerman. You might recognize him from other movies like 3:10 to Yuma or The Perks of Being a Wallflower. But let's get down to business.

Logan was born on January 19, 1992. That makes him a Capricorn (fun fact for all you astrology lovers out there). But what does that mean for his age?

Well, as of 2023, Logan is 31 years old. Yep, you read that right. He was just a teen when he started playing Percy in the first movie, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, which came out in 2010. That means he was around 18 when he started filming.

Now, you might be thinking, "Wait a minute, wasn't Percy like 12 in the books?" Yeah, you're right. The books by Rick Riordan start with Percy as a 12-year-old. But the movies, well, they took some creative liberties. Logan was a bit older when he started playing the role, but hey, it worked out pretty well, don't you think?

The new 'Percy Jackson' series on Disney Plus is already a success

So, why is this all so interesting? Well, it's like watching a friend grow up, you know? We've seen Logan go from a teen playing a preteen to a full-blown adult. It's like, one minute he's fighting the Fury, and the next, he's directing his own movie, Shotgun.

And hey, it's not just about age. It's about the journey. Logan's career has been like a rollercoaster ride, from Percy Jackson to Indignation and Gossip Girl. Each role is like a new adventure, and we're all here, cheering him on.

But enough about Logan. Let's talk about you. How old were you when you first read the Percy Jackson books or watched the movies? Did you ever imagine you'd be reading about the actor's age one day? Share your stories in the comments below!

And hey, if you're new to the Percy Jackson series, what are you waiting for? Grab a book (or a movie) and dive into the world of Greek gods, monsters, and demigods. It's a wild ride, and we promise, you won't regret it.
