Guessing Wednesday's Age: A Spooky Good Time!
Ever found yourself wondering about the age of your favorite spooky gal, Wednesday Addams, from the Netflix series? You're not alone! It's like trying to guess the age of that ancient oak tree in your grandma's backyard - you know it's old, but how old? Let's dive in, shall we?
Wednesday's Mysterious Age
Wednesday Addams, played by the incredibly talented Jenna Ortega, is a character shrouded in mystery. The show doesn't give us a straight answer about her age, which is as frustrating as trying to figure out how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop (the world may never know!).
But fear not, dear readers! We can still have some fun trying to unravel this spooky riddle. So, grab your thinking caps, and let's get started!
Must Read
Clues from the Series
First things first, let's look at some clues from the series. Wednesday is in high school, which narrows it down a bit. But remember, high school age ranges from 14 to 18, so that's still a pretty big window.
Now, let's consider her maturity level. Wednesday is wise beyond her years, which could suggest she's older. But then again, she's also got a childlike curiosity, which could point to her being younger. It's like trying to guess the age of that eccentric neighbor who's always wearing a trench coat and a fedora - you just can't tell!
Comparisons: When Wednesday Met...
Let's try a different approach. How about we compare Wednesday to some real-life teens and see if that helps?
Remember when Wednesday met Eugene, the boy from the local mortuary? They seemed to hit it off, and it got us thinking - if Wednesday were a real teen, she'd probably be the kind to befriend the quirky, misunderstood kids. You know, like that kid in your class who loved collecting rocks or had an unusual obsession with something. Wednesday would totally be their friend!
Now, think about the first time you befriended someone like that. Chances are, you were both around the same age. So, maybe Wednesday is around the same age as Eugene, who's probably a typical 16-year-old. Food for thought, right?
How old is Wednesday in the new Netflix series?
Why Should You Care?

It's like when you find out your favorite author's birthday and you celebrate it every year. It's just a fun way to connect with the characters we love!
Plus, Wednesday's age can tell us a lot about her character and how she's grown throughout the series. It's like when you look at old photos of yourself and realize how much you've changed. So, even if we never get a definitive answer, speculating about Wednesday's age is half the fun!
So, How Old Is Wednesday?
Alright, let's take a stab at it. Based on all our clues and comparisons, we're going to say that Wednesday Addams is probably around 16 years old. But remember, this is just a guess, and we're totally open to being proved wrong!
In the end, whether Wednesday is 16, 17, or even 18, one thing's for sure - she's a unique, spooky, and lovable character that we can't get enough of. And isn't that what really matters?
