How Old Is Wednesday From Wednesday

So, there I was, binge-watching Wednesday on Netflix, when it hit me - how old is this mysterious, spooky, and oh-so-stylish protagonist? I mean, she's got this timeless vibe going on, like a cross between Wednesday Addams and a vintage pin-up girl. But seriously, how old is she?

Now, I know what you're thinking, "Dude, it's just a TV show, who cares?" Well, hear me out. Age is just a number, right? But in this case, it's a number that could help us understand Wednesday's character a little better. Plus, it's a fun mystery to solve, isn't it?

Let's Break It Down

First things first, Wednesday is a reimagining of the Addams Family character, created by Charles Addams in the 1930s. The original Wednesday, as we know her from the comics and the '60s TV show, is a young girl. But the new Wednesday, played by Jenna Ortega, feels different. She's got this mature, almost rebellious edge to her. So, let's try to figure out her age in the context of the new series.

Clues from the Show

In the show, Wednesday is sent to Nevermore Academy, a boarding school for outcasts and the supernatural. She's there to learn to control her psychic powers and, you know, fit in with the other freaks. Now, boarding schools usually cater to teenagers, right? So, that's our first clue - Wednesday is likely a teenager.

But here's where it gets tricky. In one episode, we see Wednesday's birth certificate, which says she was born in 1968. That would make her... well, let's not do the math. Let's just say she's older than she looks. A lot older. Like, old enough to have seen the original Addams Family TV show air. Which is weird, because she seems to be a teenager in the show.

So, What's the Deal?

Here's the thing - the show's creators have been pretty tight-lipped about Wednesday's age. They want us to focus on her character and her story, not get hung up on numbers. And fair enough, age is just one aspect of a character. But it's a fun aspect to explore, isn't it?

Maybe Wednesday is an immortal, like some of the other characters in the Addams universe. Maybe she's just really good at looking like a teenager. Maybe she's a teenager in our world, but in the show's universe, she's older. Who knows? The mystery is part of the fun, right?

What Do You Think?

So, what's your theory? How old do you think Wednesday is? Let me know in the comments. And hey, if you've got any other mysteries you want me to solve, just say the word. I'm all about the intrigue, baby.

Until next time, keep questioning, keep exploring, and remember - age is just a number. Unless it's your age. Then it's a really important number. But that's a conversation for another time.
