How Old Was Finn Wolfhard In It Chapter 2

Alright, gather 'round, folks. Let's chat about Finn Wolfhard's age in It Chapter 2. You know, that movie where the Losers' Club reunites to face Pennywise again. Now, I'm not here to bore you with dates and numbers, but let's dive into this like we're catching up over coffee.

So, picture this: Finn Wolfhard, our beloved Mike Wheeler from Stranger Things, all grown up and playing the adult version of Richie Tozier in It Chapter 2. Now, you might be thinking, "Wow, he's really grown up!" And you're right, he has. But how old was he exactly when they filmed that movie?

Well, let's rewind a bit. Finn was born on December 24, 2002. That makes him a Christmas baby, right? Now, It Chapter 2 was released in September 2019. Let's do some quick math here. If you're bad at math like me, don't worry, I'll keep it simple.

Finn was 16 years old when they started filming It Chapter 2. Yes, you heard it right. Sixteen! I know, I know, it feels like just yesterday we were watching him in Stranger Things, riding his bike and fighting Demogorgons. But time flies, folks. It's like when you look at your old high school photos and realize you're now the age your parents were back then. Scary, right?

Now, you might be wondering, "How did they pull off making him look older?" Well, apart from the obvious makeup and styling, Finn was actually one of the taller actors in the cast. Standing at 5'10" (or 178 cm for our metric friends), he was already quite tall for his age. Imagine being 16 and already taller than some adults. I remember being that age and still struggling to reach the top shelf in the kitchen. But I digress.

'Stranger Things' cast 9 years later: Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder

Anyway, back to Finn. He might have been 16 during filming, but he was a pro at playing older. I mean, have you seen his performance? He nailed Richie's sarcastic wit and courage. It's like when your little cousin suddenly starts using big words and you're like, "Whoa, where did you learn that?"

So, there you have it. Finn Wolfhard was 16 when he filmed It Chapter 2. Isn't it crazy how time flies? One minute they're kids fighting monsters, the next they're all grown up, fighting clowns. It's like life, isn't it? One big, scary, yet exciting adventure.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go check if my high school photos are still as embarrassing as I remember. Until next time, folks!
