How Old Was Finn Wolfhard In Season 4

Hey there, Stranger Things fans! Ever wondered how old Finn Wolfhard was when he first graced our screens as the lovable Mike Wheeler in season 4? Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to dive into a fun little time-travel adventure!

Let's rewind, shall we?

Picture this: it's 2016, and Netflix has just dropped a mind-blowing, nostalgia-inducing series called Stranger Things. We're all hooked, binge-watching like there's no tomorrow, and Finn Wolfhard, with his charming smile and perfect '80s hair, has stolen our hearts.

But here's the thing, guys - Finn wasn't even a teenager when he started playing Mike! Can you believe it?

So, how old was he, you ask?

Alright, let's do some math. Stranger Things season 1 premiered on July 15, 2016. Finn Wolfhard, our dear Mike, was born on December 23, 2002. So, when the first season aired, Finn was a fresh-faced 13 years old!

I know, right? It's like finding out your favorite teacher was actually a kid in a wig!

But wait, there's more!

Now, you might be thinking, "Okay, cool, but what about season 4? When was that filmed, and how old was Finn then?" Great question! Season 4 was filmed in 2020 and 2021, and by then, Finn had turned 18. That's right, folks! Mike Wheeler was played by an adult (well, sort of).

I mean, can you imagine if they'd cast Finn as Mike in season 4? We'd have been watching a high school senior playing a middle school kid. Talk about a time warp!

So, what's the big deal?

Well, it's just crazy to think about how much these kids have grown up with us, you know? We've watched them go from kids playing dress-up in their parents' closets to full-blown Hollywood stars. It's like they've been our little brothers, and we've been cheering them on from the sidelines this whole time.

Plus, it's just fun to imagine what it would've been like if Finn had stayed the same age as Mike. Would he have been stuck in the Upside Down forever? Would he have had to keep cutting his hair to fit the part? The possibilities are endless!

But seriously, folks...

It's been amazing to watch Finn and the rest of the Stranger Things cast grow up right before our eyes. From their first awkward interviews to their red-carpet debuts, they've become a part of our pop culture family. And even though Finn might not be a kid anymore, he'll always be our beloved Mike Wheeler.

So, here's to Finn and the rest of the Stranger Things gang - thanks for growing up with us, and here's to many more seasons of adventure (and aging) to come!

Until next time, keep your Eggo waffles warm and your doors locked, 'cause you never know when the Mind Flayer might come knocking.
