How Old Was Finn Wolfhard In Stranger Things Season 1

So, How Old Was Finn Wolfhard in Stranger Things Season 1?

Alright, let's dive into the Upside Down and find out! Grab your Eggos, we're going on a journey.

When Stranger Things Season 1 hit our screens in 2016, it was like a bunch of fireworks going off in the middle of a quiet night. And there, among the group of kids that stole our hearts, was Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler.

Now, you might be thinking, "Finn looked like he was about 12 when he was running around Hawkins, trying to save Will from the Demogorgon." And you'd be right! But let's put a number to it, shall we?

Finn Wolfhard's Age in Stranger Things Season 1

So, here's the deal. When Stranger Things Season 1 was filmed, Finn Wolfhard was 13 years old. Yes, you heard it right! He was just a baby wolf, howling his way into our hearts.

But here's where it gets a little tricky. The show is set in the '80s, and the kids are supposed to be around 12. So, Finn was playing a character a year younger than he actually was. Talk about method acting, huh?

Now, you might be wondering, "How did they pull off making him look so young?" Well, it's a mix of good writing, great acting, and maybe a little bit of that Hawkins magic dust. Or perhaps it's just Finn's baby face. Let's not forget, he was only 13!

Growing Up on Screen

As the seasons went on, we watched Finn (and the rest of the cast) grow up right before our eyes. In Season 4, when it was filmed, Finn was 18. That's right, he was a legal adult, fighting off Vecnas and all sorts of monsters.

It's crazy to think how much these kids have grown, both on and off screen. From playing Dungeons & Dragons in Mike's basement to fighting the forces of evil, Finn and the gang have come a long way.

So, where's Finn now? Well, he's still acting, still making us laugh and cry with his incredible performances. He's also directing, producing, and even has a band called The Aubreys. Talk about multi-talented!

And you know what? Despite all the fame and success, Finn remains as down-to-earth and charming as ever. He's still the kid who loves playing video games and making people laugh. And that, my friend, is something truly special.

So, Let's Wrap This Up

There you have it! Finn Wolfhard was 13 years old when he first graced our screens as Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things Season 1. And even though he's all grown up now, we'll always remember him as that lovable, brave kid from Hawkins.
