Ever found yourself grooving to Lucid Dreams by Juice WRLD, wondering, "Hey, how old was this guy when he made this banger?" I mean, the kid's voice is so smooth, it's like he's been singing since he was in diapers, right?
So, let's rewind the clock.
Juice WRLD, whose real name was Jarad Anthony Higgins, was born on December 2, 1998. Now, that's a '98, not a '00, folks. He's a millennial, but barely. Imagine him as a baby, cooing and gurgling, no idea he'd one day make us all sing, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah."
Now, let's talk Lucid Dreams.
This track, the one that put Juice WRLD on the map, dropped in 2018. That's right, it's been a minute, but not as long as you might think. So, when he released it, he was just a fresh-faced 19-year-old, still a teenager, still in his first year of adulthood. Crazy, huh?

Think about it like this: When he was making Lucid Dreams, some of us were still trying to figure out how to adult. We were learning to cook (burnt pasta, anyone?), trying to keep our plants alive (RIP, poor succulent), and figuring out how to pay bills (hello, student loans!). Meanwhile, Juice WRLD was over here making music that would go on to be certified 6x platinum. Talk about a side hustle!
But why does it matter?
Well, it's kinda mind-blowing, isn't it? Here's this kid, barely out of his teens, making music that's got the whole world singing. It's like when you see a kid who can play the piano like a pro, and you're just sitting there, trying not to drop your jaw. It's impressive, is what it is.

Plus, it's a reminder that you're never too young (or too old) to chase your dreams. Juice WRLD started making music in his bedroom, just messing around. He didn't know it would turn into something this big. But he went for it, and look where he ended up. So, next time you're feeling like you're too young (or too old) to do something, remember Juice WRLD. He was just a kid, making music in his bedroom. And now, he's a legend.
Rest in peace, Juice WRLD. You left us way too soon, but your music will keep on dreaming.
