So, you've been binge-watching Twilight, huh? Or maybe you're just curious about the guy who's now playing Batman. Either way, you're here because you want to know: how old was Robert Pattinson when he first stepped into the spotlight as Edward Cullen?
Let's rewind to 2008, the year the first Twilight movie hit the big screens. Robert was just a fresh-faced 22-year-old, straight out of London, ready to take Hollywood by storm. Now, 22 might seem old enough to buy a lottery ticket or even vote (depending on where you're from), but in Hollywood years, that's practically a baby!
Think of it like this: when Robert was filming Twilight, some of his co-stars were still in high school. Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, was just 17. That's like being cast in a movie with your little sister, right? (No offense, sis!)

But back to Robert. At 22, he was still navigating the world, just like the rest of us. He was probably stressing about what to wear to auditions, trying to figure out how to adult (does anyone really know?), and maybe even struggling with his first apartment. You know, the one with the mysterious stains on the carpet and the neighbors who love to party at 3 AM.
Now, you might be thinking, "Why should I care how old he was?" Well, let me tell you, it's fascinating to see how far he's come. From a young actor stepping into the limelight, to becoming a heartthrob (hello, Team Edward!), and now, taking on the iconic role of Batman. It's like watching a friend grow up, move out, and become a superhero - literally!

Plus, it's a reminder that sometimes, great things happen when you're young. You might not have all the answers, or even know what you're doing, but that's okay. You're figuring it out, just like Robert did. And who knows? Maybe one day, you'll look back and realize you were doing some pretty amazing stuff when you were 22, too.
So, there you have it. Robert Pattinson was 22 when he first graced our screens as Edward Cullen. Not too shabby for a kid from London, huh? Now, go forth and enjoy your day, knowing that even the biggest stars were once just starting out. And who knows? Maybe tomorrow, you'll be the one making headlines.
