Now, let's calculate her age in 1998

So, if you take 1998 and subtract 1944, you get... drumroll... 54! That's right, Stockard Channing was 54 years old when she played the enchanting Sally Owens in "Practical Magic".

But wait, she doesn't look a day over 40!

I know, right? The woman is an ageless wonder! It's like she's found the real-life "youth" potion. Or maybe it's just her incredible talent and charisma that keeps her looking so fabulous. Either way, we're all about it.

So, what about the rest of the cast?

You're not the only one curious about ages, I get it. Sandra Bullock, who played Sally's sister Gillian, was 34 in 1998. And Nicole Kidman, who played the younger Sally, was 30. Can you even believe it? They were all practically babies!

But why does it even matter?

Well, it doesn't, really. Not when you've got a movie as magical as "Practical Magic" to keep you company. But hey, it's fun to geek out about these things, right? After all, it's not every day you get to chat about the ages of your favorite movie stars.
