Alright, gather 'round, folks. I've got a tale to spin about the dynamic duo, Rhett and Link, and their Good Mythical Morning (GMM) adventure. Now, you might be thinking, "How old were these whippersnappers when they started their shenanigans?" Well, buckle up, 'cause it's time to dive into the time machine.

Back in the Day

Picture this: it's the early 2000s, the dawn of YouTube. Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal are just a couple of wide-eyed, bushy-tailed college kids, fresh out of Buena Vista University in Iowa. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Iowa? Really? I thought they were from some exotic land like... Ohio." But no, folks, Iowa was their launching pad.

Rhett, the elder statesman of the pair, was born on October 11, 1977. That makes him a crispy, golden, perfectly baked 44 years old as of this year. Link, the younger, wilder one, was born on June 1, 1978, which makes him a sprightly, youthful, still-in-his-prime 43 years old. Yes, you read that right. They're practically toddlers in internet years.

The Birth of GMM

Now, let's fast forward to 2007. Rhett and Link have been tinkering with their comedy chops for a while, creating sketch comedy and music videos. Then, one day, they looked at each other and said, "Hey, why not start a daily talk show on YouTube? You know, like the ones they have on... TV." And thus, Good Mythical Morning was born.

GMM debuted on December 17, 2007. So, how old were our heroes when they started this grand adventure? Well, Rhett was a ripe old age of 30, and Link was a mere 29. Young whippersnappers, right?

Growing Pains and Gains

In the early days, GMM was a humble affair. It was just Rhett and Link, a camera, and a whole lot of caffeine. They'd talk about anything and everything, from their favorite breakfast cereals to the meaning of life (spoiler alert: it's pancakes). They even had a segment called "Will It?" where they'd ask the age-old question, "Will it... blend?" Yes, folks, they were the original, and some might say, the best, "Will It?" pioneers.

As the years rolled on, GMM grew. They moved from a cramped apartment to a sprawling studio. They added more segments, more challenges, and even more Rhett and Link. They started the Good Mythical Morning Tour, bringing their brand of comedy to stages across the country. And through it all, they've remained, at their core, two friends making each other laugh.

And the Rest is History

So there you have it, folks. Rhett and Link started GMM in their late twenties, full of youthful energy and a whole lot of crazy ideas. And look at them now! They've got a massive following, a successful podcast, a clothing line, and a whole lot of memories. Not bad for a couple of kids from Iowa, huh?

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to go find out what Rhett and Link were like as babies. I have a feeling it involves a lot of mischief and maybe a few diaper changes. But hey, that's a story for another time.
